The original phablet — the Samsung Galaxy Note — performed well in the sales department in nearly every market it launched in. The moral of the Galaxy Note story is consumers do enjoy large displays on their smartphones, almost to the point where it becomes a functioning tablet. Now, according to a few rumors, it looks like Samsung is going to launch a successor to the original device by October.
